THE TEN COMMANDMENTS +1 in 21st Century

YES, The Ten Commandments still go for us today! anything the Lord modified He informed us of it.  Any changes that exist are due to blood sacrifices of ram, lamb, bullock and etc. Jesus is now the Lamb Slain as the Blood sacrifice for our sins.

https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Hebrews-10-27/   Here in Hebrews 10 it tells us to look only to Jesus as the sacrifice for our sins. In old testament times, they could look to the ram, the calf, the bullock or lamb, and Now in these last days, Jesus is the Lamb slain for sins.

In the Old Testament it was an "eye for an eye" and a "tooth for a tooth", but now we must turn the other cheek, and Love our enemies.

Many say,  well,... if all the 10 are for us today why do gentiles not keep the Sabbath?   Read Hebrews chapter 4

 Hebrews Ch. 4:4
let the Holy Spirit reveal to you prayerfully what the will of God is for the Gentiles observance. This is where the Lord's Rest to His people is discussed.

[and,... The Sabbath was made for us, not us for The Sabbath; For our rest as did God on the 7th day from His labors.]

Mark 2:27   And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28  Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.]

Colossians 2:16   Paul (who is named "chief of the Gentile believers") says..

...  Let no man, therefore, judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days:
see also  Acts 15:29   where Paul sees a new group of believers and says to them...

"For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."

MATTHEW 5:17 KJV "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

We shouldn't be controversial on this topic but have faith that through all the generations of faithful leaders of God's People both Gentile and Jew, the Lord would have very emphasized the Sabbath observance to His Gentile Pastors and Prophets on such an important topic, however, if a leader or believer is close-minded to a Truth, the Lord is patient to allow them to open their heart to be able to receive revelation knowledge, or a doctrinal truth, for without faith/belief it is impossible to please God. God will reveal a thing or open understanding when our heart is ready to receive and believe it.  Let's not wrestle with God's Word and only Believe.

The Sabbath is still holy, Observe it if you will but it is written to keep ALL of it when we do.   Once I spoke with a 7th day Adventist, who drove over 4 miles to her church on Saturday when travelling more than a mile on Sabbath is forbidden. Exodus-16-29/  In Exodus 31 the scripture emphatically says Israel is to forever observe Sabbath perpetually.  Ex. 31

We do His commands as proof of our Love to God, not as a way to earn our way into His heart or Heaven.  Abraham showed his love and commitment to God by offering Isaac, we must be willing to offer our all to God too, sacrifice the pleasures of sin, not holding onto anything more than the Lord.  First and foremost is to Love the Lord thy God with all our heart, mind, body, and soul.

Although the below scripture says God brought them out of Egypt, well...Israel is still God's chosen people and If we serve a Jewish Lord, we honor/respect the same commands as
He gave them/us, even when the death angel passed through Egypt and the lamb's blood was placed on the doorposts of the obedient to save the firstborn, the servants and handmaidens within the home of other races were also spared if firstborn. The Lord has one Word to All who Love and Follow Him. Holiness hasn't changed, Sin cannot be modernized, changed or redefined, What God calls Righteousness in the Old Testament is still Righteousness today.

The Lord's 10 Commandments:  EXODUS 20:

...And God spake all these words, saying,

"I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3  Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (1)

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: (2)

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.(3)

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (4)

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it, thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.

12  Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long  upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee (5)

13 Thou shalt not kill.  (6)

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery (7)

15 Thou shalt not steal.(8)

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.(9)

17
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbours."
(10)

THE NEW COMMANDMENT
MATTHEW 5:43-44

43 "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour and hate thine enemy. 44   But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"
