Sinning Saints ?

We lose more friends with this topic, but.... it is scripture, so it still needs to be said, preached, proclaimed and followed....

We too often hear error, such as "as long as you are in the flesh you are going to sin",,, [probably, but we dont have to]

We hear "God understands" when it comes to our weaknesses.
[God understands we are giving in to the flesh]

The Lord gave us the power to overcome sin, and the grave. This is not a time to refrain from resistance, rebuke, and relax the armor of God, but to use it daily. Fasting and Prayer greatly reduces the will to sin, it has the ability to blow out every unholy fire that is within us.
Let's be reminded of these scriptures.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

["Have sinned", is Past tense, not 'all are sinning ']

1st John 1:10
10If we say that we have not sinned , we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

[again, Past tense]

1st Corinthians 6:9-11
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

[again Past tense, "such WERE some of you"]

Hebrews 6:1-2
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

We are almost outta here, Christ is too soon to come, the proof is on the Evening and Local News everyday, in our neighborhoods, our families, the children, the schools and we have become a star-spangled disaster as a Nation. The Church leads the Nation out of Sin, and
into the Favor of God. Marching and protesting wont do it, Only what the Bible says
"If GOD's PEOPLE, shall Humble Themselves, Pray, SEEK HIS FACE, and We TURN from Our Wicked Ways, THEN GOD Will Hear us from Heaven, Forgive our sin and Heal our Land".

We must at least admit God's Word about us departing from out sins is true, and must be done and CAN be done, because His Word says so. Let the Lord see His Church trying, putting forth the effort, resisting evil, sin, immorality, injustice, etc. God is Great in Mercy. Let's Try Harder without making excuses. The Hour is Late!

The below scriptures and Verse #15 is what Jesus said to His Discples not
a group of random spectators, skeptics, and followers. Whereever you see
the word "YOU" He's speaking to Believers/followers. Let's not excuse ourselves from the imminent Word that plainly tells Christians that at the end times we will be here to experience many things that many are not taught are for us.

We like to think we wont be here for the Great Tribulation and God would never let His people go through such a hard thing, but then Moses wouldve entered the promised land, Job would never have suffered, John the Baptist, The Apostles, Stephen and Paul went through hard things, and dont forget Jesus suffering,

The Church thinks it's exempt, special, better than the early Church, but we need to toughen up and get ready,,, Remember "nothing thall separate us from the Love of God in Christ Jesus,...not Peril, not distress, not sword or anything...He Still Loves us no matter what hard thing happens to us, or trouble we endure.

It plainly tells us in this passage we shall be here when the Abomination of Desolation is setup and 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2 (v6) tells us "now you know what withholds/precedes our Gathering together unto the Lord, the revealing of the antichrist. The Church WILL be here.

2nd Corinthians 10:3-6
3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

EPHESIANS 6:10-18 (bible verse)
10..."Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

The highlighted words are emphasized to show how we can BE ABLE to stand against the wiles of the devil and quench EVERY fiery dart of the wicked.

One reason the Church appears weak to the world is due to not taking The Armor of God seriously. We wouldnt need armour if a fight were not involved. We must fight !!

We used to sing a song back in the day, saying "we have to fight although we have to cry, we've got to hold up the Blood-Stained banner, we've got to hold it up until we die; We are Soldiers in the Army of The Lord!" Amen !
When we see we can BE ABLE to stand against the wiles of the devil and quench every fiery dart he throws our way, we must know that if we Do Not Use this Armour we are subject to defeat to the wiles of the devil and be struck with every fiery dart. satan wants us back and will use every temptation we used to be involved in, he will use every accuser, liar, rediculer, former pleasures and involvements, any weakness that was left at the altar, the enemy until we die will try to bring it back if our guard is down.

Too many of us expect God to do what He has already given us the Command to do for ourselves and supplied us with the tools, equipment and instruction to achieve the victory in the quest we are in. We ask God to , cleanse us when the Word of God tells us to "Purge ye yourselves, work out your own soul salvation, Buildup yourselves on your most Holy Faith, Strengthen yourselves, etc. etc.

We are also told "seek the face of God" (Pray earnestly) Seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness...". These requests/commands are Proactive, aggressive, sole responsibility of the believer. We must Press our way, go against our flesh, and yield to The Spirit of God.

God's yoke is easy, and His burden is light. Love only sees the victory not the fight, the finish line not the opponents, The reward, not the struggle to acquire it. When we fix our eyes on the prize and high-calling of God in Christ Jesus, we become unstoppable, immovable, always abounding in the Work of the Lord, overcoming every hindering cause. FIGHT !! You are dressed to Kill every plan of wickedness!! make the enemy retreat, and go back to the drawing board every time!

Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Salvation and The Word of God which is the Sword of the Spirit.

The last verse is believed to say that "the mind serves the law of God and the flesh serves the law of sin" and many accept that it can't be dealt with. Paul essentially is telling us when we serve God we follow The Law of God when our flesh sins we serve the law of sin.
It is written: (James 1:14-15) "Every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed, then when lust hath conceived it bringeth forth sin, and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

Romans 6:12 "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof."

Romans Ch. 7 reads...

"Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

2For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

4Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

5For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

6But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

7What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

8But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

9For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
